You will design, enhance, and execute Poderos sales strategy, focusing on establishing and expanding relationships with customers. This role offers the exciting opportunity to change the core product of billion-dollar utility companies, refine valuable sales skills in a fast-paced start-up environment, and dive deep into one of the worlds largest industries.
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on sales execution, and capacity to learn quickly. You will collaborate with and mentor high-performing sales team, work with product and marketing departments, and strive constantly improve our sales processes, lead times, and conversion rates.
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will report directly to the CEO, work within go-to-market department and contribute to the development and success of Poderos customer growth and traction. This role will allow you to grow while making a tangible impact on the global push for CO₂ neutrality.
Key Responsibilities
As part of your role at Podero, your responsibilities will include:
Sales:
- Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to build and maintain relationships
- Lead and participate in events and trade fairs to represent Podero and generate new business opportunities
- Develop and refine sales scripts, methods, and strategies
- Serve as the primary contact person for customers throughout the sales process
- Autonomously negotiate large SaaS deals end-to-end
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, product, and tech teams
- Coach and mentor junior sales team members
Organization:
- Independently select and target customer groups
- Manage the entire sales pipeline within Hubspot
- Shape and improve sales processes to enhance customer experience
Desired Experience
- 3-5 years of practical sales experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success
- Strong communication skills and interest in applied psychology and/or business
- Experience in leading and inspiring a sales team
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Leveraging new technologies (like Generative AI) to streamline and improve processes
