Financial Accountant, Tax About the job

As a Tax Accountant, you will lead the fiscal and general accounting activities, liaising with external partners, ensuring a high-quality delivery of services in a timely manner. Together with your direct manager and the rest of the Finance team, you will be given a great opportunity to influence our future way of working. The role reports to the Head of Finance and is located in Solna, Stockholm.

• Lead general accounting tasks within the department
• Take part in the control/booking of AP & AR, bank and other transactions
• Provide support to recovering and balancing of accounts
• Support the management of declarations toward tax authority
• Participate in the control and certification of fiscal deductions process
• Manage Intrastat process including declarations
• Lead the control and preparation of monthly VAT declaration
• Ensure proper management of end-of-period funds
• Actively participate in the development of projects related to fiscality/general accounting
• Support in the activities needed for the monthly closing by performing reconciliations, accruals, etc.

Required education, experience, and skills

• 4+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in accounting
• Relevant university studies or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• SAP knowledge is considered a plus
