ESG Intern, Summer 2024 (June-August), Stockholm

We look for interns who demonstrate both curiosity and eagerness to learn about investment, our markets, and our work as a responsible owner. An analytical mindset, superior communication skills and high attention to details are vital.

Your Primary responsibilities will be:

• To support the investment team to update, collect and analyze performance data from portfolio companies using proprietary ESG analysis tools.

• Undertake ad hoc research on emerging ESG issues of relevance to East Capital Group and to its portfolios and draw conclusions and recommendations.

• Support ESG and sustainability-related stewardship activities with portfolio holdings.
• Contribute to developing and rolling out enhanced work processes related to data management and reporting.

Eligibility and profile:

• You are currently pursuing a relevant degree (Master’s degree is favorable but not an requirement) in finance, economics, or sustainability
• Right to work in Sweden at point of application
• You have a keen interest in finance and investing in stocks
• You are passionate about sustainability topics
• Previous relevant experience and demonstratable skills in ESG analysis / management (consultancy/internships)
• Familiarity with global frameworks and regulations e.g., SDGs, UNGC, UNPRI, ISSB, SFDR
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent writing skills in English and Swedish, additional languages are a plus
