Freight forwarder

We need to strengthen our existing department in connection with the development and growth of the business. We are therefore looking for a freight forwarder for our office in Jönköping who will work operationally with road transport within the Nordic region.

In the role of freight forwarder, you have overall control over the customers freight flow and work daily with the customer and supplier care, from booking to final invoicing. You will have regular international contacts within the ColliCare world.

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers and customers.
• Booking, traffic planning, and follow-up the road transport
• Handling of customs matters
• Follow up on results
• Customer visits

The position is at our office in Jönköping, and you will report to the person responsible for it in your department. The position is a permanent position starting as soon as possible.

Your background

We are looking for a person who has at least an upper secondary education. Post-secondary education in logistics or freight forwarding is highly meritorious as experience in freight forwarding, transport and logistics work.

We would like you to have:

• Positive, meticulous and service-oriented personality
• Strong drive as well as the ability to make independent decisions
• Good computer skills
• Master both Swedish and English in speech and writing (mandatory)
• Business acumen
• Good communication skills

You can look at things long-term meanings and wider consequences and adapt your actions to this. In stressful situations, you are calm, stable and controlled. The role requires you to be a team player who sees opportunities and solutions over obstacles.
