Were seeking a passionate and innovative Lore Intern to join our team for a journey of unpaid but high value, crafting unforgettable gaming experiences.

The Role

As a Lore Writing Intern you will be responsible for building a fantasy setting that feels both alive and interesting. Together with the lore team you will brainstorm new ideas, write about topics within the video game world and help review other team members lore entries to ensure top quality content is written. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about video games and their worlds and eager to write lots of new stories.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the gameplay and design teams to ensure the lore stays consistent with the rest of the game.

• Write new lore entries based on the brainstorming of the lore team, then revise as fit upon receiving feedback.

• Provide detailed and constructive feedback on other lore team members writing.

• Help ensure a good standard in both writing style and content quality throughout the lore by collaborating closely with the other lore team members.

Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing writing skills. (Plus points if they are related to fantasy or world building.)

• Basic understanding of writing tools such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

• Understanding of the process of writing from planning to revising.

• Education/experience in creative writing is a bonus, but not required.

• A passion for video games and writing the stories within them.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

• Ability to receive constructive feedback and use it to improve
