Leetify helps gamers track and share their accomplishments. We provide our users with data-driven post-match reports for the matches they play in competitive video games. Our match reports help users understand how they perform, celebrate their best plays, and compare accomplishments with their friends. Our goal is to help gamers enjoy their favorite games even more.

Why its the perfect time to join

• Weve got great traction in our first game (Counter-Strike). Our CS product is used by more than 200k players every month and that user base is growing rapidly. Our users are extremely enthusiastic about the product were building and were keen to continue delivering a great product for them.

• The company is now at an inflection point where we are scaling from supporting just one game to multiple games. This comes with many interesting challenges within both product, organization and on the technical side.

About the role

Leetify is seeking a creative and dedicated designer to join our LoL team. As a UX/UI Designer in the LoL team at Leetify, you will have the unique opportunity to combine your expertise in design with your love for League of Legends to craft intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user interfaces that resonate with our diverse player base.

You will be shaping the new Leetify LoL web-app from the ground up, working closely with the League of Legends Product Manager and developers. You will also be able to tap into the knowledge built by your colleagues in the CS team for the past 4 years.

Summary of responsibilities

• Collaborate with the LoL team, and in particular the PM and CEO, to understand product requirements and user needs.

• Conceptualize, design, and iterate on designs for our web application, ensuring an optimal user experience, building on the foundation of the existing branding and design system.

• Help build and iterate on Leetify’s overall design system and brand along with your design peers.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.

• Occasionally create generic graphs, marketing materials or content for SoMe posts.

• Stay in touch with user feedback to help inform design choices, occasionally joining in user conversations.

• Stay up-to-date with both industry trends and LoL news and community

About you

You are a talented and experienced UI designer with a passion for gaming, particularly League of Legends. You play and have played a large amount of LoL and have a deep understanding of champions, epics, gameplay mechanics, the LoL universe and community. You are enthusiastic to hear what LoL players and potential users say and to help generate ideas to solve their problems.

As a proficient UI designer, you understand UX principles and best practices, and ideally have experience working with and maintaining design systems. You are proficient in Figma and/or other design tools such as Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent.

You have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas, and you are able to work independently while collaborating with other designers, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are confident in communicating both synchronously and asynchronously. You have ideally worked with both more and less experienced designers, and learnt from the former and supported the latter.

You take pride in delivering designs that delight users and make Leetify’s product great. At the same time, you’re a big believer in 20% of the effort giving 80% of the value, and use that as a framework to know when it’s time to deliver a design / project knowing that it might need perfecting but it’s good enough for testing, as some feature might not see the light of day.

You have previously worked in a team of designers and have experience designing for web applications. You have collaborated with developers and understand the basics of how HTML, CSS and maybe even JavaScript work for implementing responsive designs.
