Its a 6 crew yacht with a deck/stew who needs to be managed. Itinerary: Med cruising 2024/2025, Potentially a short Caribbean season in between....

A 1st mate is required for a 40m+ modern sailing yacht. This is a private program with a busy season coming up for July and August which will be spent in SoF/ Sardinia before returning back to the Balearics. They will be in Palma for the yard period and there is then potential for a late Caribbean season in January 2025.

This role offer a great opportunity for someone who is working towards their OOW and would like to be given more responsibilities with time as well as drive time. You need to have your YM Ocean minimum and ideally a a few of your OOW modules under your belt.

You need to be strong sailor, ideally you have been 1st Mate on sailing yachts in the 30m range and are looking to step up in size and responsibilities. Its a 6 crew yacht with a deck/stew who needs to be managed.

This role is open to couples, your partner would need to be a chef.

Qualifications required: YMO minimum, working towards OOW. previous 1st mate experience on sailing yachts, excellent references.

Itinerary: Med cruising 2024/2025, Potentially a short Caribbean season in between

Male/female: Open to both, ideally someone who is a couple with a chef

Startdate and joining location: Palma or France, before July 10th

Package: DOE, 45 days leave, course allowances
