About the role:
As a key member of our finance team, the Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping and structuring the financial area and processes. The role will also contribute to the overall growth of the business. Financial acumen, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and effective communication of financial insights will be fundamental to success in this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Financial Modeling and Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance, assist with the annual budgeting process, and provide financial projections.
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyse financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Management Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders to communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Valuation Calculation:
- Calculate the potential valuation of business projects based on financial models and market analysis.
- Other:
- Assist in crafting presentations, reports, and documentation showcasing project viability, growth potential, and financial feasibility.
What do we expect from you?
Crucial Experiences&Skills&Competencies:
- Min. 3 years of experience on similar positions.
- FP&A expertise:
- Practical experience in financial planning and analysis including building financial models, budgeting & forecasting as well as a strong background in analysis of financial data.
- Advanced Financial Modeling Proficiency:
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in constructing and maintaining intricate financial models incorporating KPIs, revenue forecasts, and expense estimates.
- Financial and Business Acumen:
- Ability to critically challenge and assess the financial and business viability of projects, analyzing assumptions, and strategies.
- Presentation and Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex financial information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Investment Evaluation Exposure:
- Previous involvement in investment evaluations or similar processes, supporting due diligence and assessment of financial viability for investment opportunities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in companies with an international structure or in reputable consulting firms
- Risk Management Proficiency:
- Strong understanding and experience in risk assessment and management within the contexts of financial projects and innovative industries.
- Investment Material Preparation Skills:
- Experience in supporting the creation of investment materials, crafting presentations, reports, and documentation showcasing project viability and financial feasibility for internal reviews and external investor engagement.

Recruitment process:
Stage 0: We are going to review your application and get back to you with feedback within 7 days.
Stage 1 (60 min): An introductory conversation during which we will tell you about us and the Venture Builder approach, our goals, the team, and about completed and ongoing projects. At this stage, we will want to know your current situation in the context of changing jobs, financial expectations, and preferred form of employment. Our Lead of Finance will ask general questions about your expertise and work experience. We will ask you a few knowledge questions and go through some cases together to see how you will approach them.
Stage 2 (60 min): An interview with our Lead of Finance and Head of Finance & Investment Department. This meeting will involve a series of detailed inquiries about your expertise and work experience. We will present a few knowledge-based questions and walk through specific case studies to observe your approach. This interview aims to assess not only your technical and financial field proficiency but also how well you align with our company’s culture and values.
