VIDEO/CONTENT EDITOR (junior role)

About the Role
As a Junior Content Editor, you will work closely with our marketing team to create content that stimulates interest, drives engagement, and motivates action across various channels. You will support our companys sales, marketing, and conversion efforts by developing inspirational content appealing to our target audience. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and edit multichannel content for seasonal campaigns across digital channels such as social media and digital advertising

• Shoot in-house content and create SoMe specific campaigns (mostly video)

• Edit media assets based on briefs

• Ensure the content you edit is social-first and relevant for the appropriate platforms

• Understand the community and stay up-to-date with relevant social media trends and competitor activity

• Process and input audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and music

• Layout and editing of various ads, both still, video, and GIFs

• Content formatting for different channels to maximize their effectiveness and reach

• Ensure brand tonality and audience adaptation across all channels

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of proven experience in video (content) editing, either at a content agency or in-house, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industry

• Excellent understanding and passion for editing video content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

• Strong understanding of storytelling and supporting a creators vision

• Genuine passion for all social media channels and a natural curiosity

• Great understanding of creating ‘social first’ content with regard to individual platforms

• Strong knowledge of video editing software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop - including basic animation and transition work

• Basic camera operation and sound management skills

• An interest in fashion/lifestyle brands is a plus

• Up-to-date with trends across all social media platforms

• Good understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices

• Enjoys working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

• Fluent in English and Swedish

Key Relationships
Art Director, SoMe Manager, Digital Marketer.
In this role you work closely with our creative inhouse team. You will be reporting to the Head of Content Creation.

Location
This is a full-time position located at our office in central Stockholm. We work from the office with the possibility to work from home two days per week.

Start Date
As soon as possible, but no later than mid August. Please include your portfolio showcasing your editing samples in your application. If you progress further in the process, you will be asked to complete a work sample case and a personality and logic test as part of the process. Selection and interviews are ongoing.
