We are seeking a Sales Account Manager professional to join our European team, based in Stockholm, Sweden, or Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and growth of the existing customer base as well as the dynamic development of new markets and accounts in the Nordic region. Identifying, developing and managing the sales process from demand creation to closing of the business opportunity. This position is home office and it reports to the Europe West Sales Director. Key Position Responsibilities Using Allegro’s existing sales channels to develop relationships at current and prospective customers to grow sales and win new opportunities.
- Create new business opportunities for Allegro existing products in the automotive and industrial market to support growth with emphasis on complex motor drivers, analogue and digital magnetic sensors and voltage regulators.
- Identify and close new opportunities.
- Understand customer’s key contacts and strategy and develop relationships with decision makers.
- Ability to handle complex business situations in a global and challenging technical environment.
- Responds to inquiries; facilitates price quotes and negotiate agreements.
- Identifies new accounts and markets in the territory.
- Assess market needs to introduce new product offerings.
- Work closely with Management to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Develop and generate executive summary reports and provide on time.
- Provide timely feedback from the market including changes and trends.
- BSEE or MSEE Electronic Engineering (or similar) and a minimum of 5 years related technical sales and customer management experience with a proven track record.
- Language requirements: In addition to native language, English (oral and written) is a must
- Solid sales experience with mixed Analog and Digital integrated semiconductors for power management, power interface, brushless DC motors and sensor devices.
- Excellent team capabilities to operate synergistically within a global Allegro network of Engineering, Sales, and Marketing professionals.
- Dynamic and outgoing personality
- Strong relationship builder and a strong personal desire to achieve goals.
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally.
- Good organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel (3-4 days a week)
