At Propulsion System and Climate Testing, we support the sustainability mission by being part of the commitment to rethink sustainability in our operations, in our cars, and in society. Our scope is to secure appropriate and efficient test facilities enabling testing, verification, and validation of batteries, power electronics, electric motors, transmission, thermal and climate systems as well as energy efficiency and emissions.

With our ambitions within electrification, we are not able to perform all testing in-house and need to ensure we have test slots, correct test rigs, and the right costs at external test institutes. As a Business Architect, you will work in close cooperation with purchasing, our stakeholders across Engineering (mainly within Propulsion & Energy, Vehicle Engineering), our China organization, and different test facility suppliers globally.

As a member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in our overall deliveries, leading the economic and business aspects of our section. You will also contribute as a driver of various topics across the section, leveraging your skills and experience to meet our needs. Additionally, you will own the meetings with higher management and stakeholders concerning external capacity, driving initiatives to ensure our success through collaboration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact our external testing strategy. You will drive the strategy for external testing, create and secure long-term framework agreements with external suppliers for Propulsion and Energy testing, and follow up and control the external test institute deliveries and costs. Your contributions will directly influence the operational success of our engineering teams. This position offers a unique blend of strategic planning and hands-on management, allowing you to develop and implement business solutions. You will be at the forefront of driving quality improvements, ensuring that our services meet our stakeholders requirements.

We believe you have a MSc in Engineering or Industrial Engineering. You have an interest in cars and technology, and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You have leadership experience as a manager, project leader or equal and have a proven track record when it comes to negotiation and collaboration. Experience from working in product development or procurement is meritorious for the position.

To thrive in this position, you should have a genuine interest in collaboration and strong business acumen. Your ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders will be crucial. Leveraging your negotiation and collaboration skills, you will secure long-term agreements and drive our external testing strategy.

As a person, you are engaging and enthstic. You possess a strong initiative and ability to make things happen. You are not afraid to ask for help or raise a question when you dont understand or agree. You prefer clear and direct communication with both team members and colleagues.
