We are now looking for Senior Designer - Electrical to be a part of Rejlers Team in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Projects in Mumbai, India.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Organize and prioritize multi-disciplinary design drafting work to meet the target dates.
• Responsible to prepare Electrical / Instrumentation / Telecom engineering documents and drawings as required for project and assigned by Discipline Manager.
• Assist engineers / designers / design manager / Discipline Manager for the engineering design of the project.
• Ensure verification of source data, concept drawings / concepts as required.
• Prepare and finalize the engineering document deliverable in coordination with all relevant department / discipline, submission date as per Client / Contract requirements.
• Preparation of all related design deliverables through MS-office, AUTOCAD.
• Review of design document, drawings, etc. issued by various discipline, design subcontractor and ensure Client requirements.
• Support designer for Review meetings (Plot plan review, Constructability study)
• Preparation of Material Take Off
• Produce a complete set of shop/ fabrication drawings with high accuracy, based on the pre-engineering site survey.
• Overall responsible for inter discipline coordination, submission of necessary design documents/ deliverables and procedures to the Client.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Energy and Environmental objectives

Preferred Skills & Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering Technology from a Technical Institute. 12-15 years minimum Oil & Gas experience .
• Senior Designer shall require 10 years design drafting experience in oil and gas industry or related process industries and 5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in Offshore Oil & Gas project. Additional Onshore projects experience is preferable.
• Experience in FEED & Detailed Engineering for EPC projects
• In-depth knowledge of the operation of a modern CAD based multi-discipline drawing office.
• Excellent experience in design modules of SmartPlant and Aveva suite of application - SMARTPLANT 3D/PDMS, SPI/AVEVA INST., SPEL/AVEVA ELECT.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills, Word Processing and Spreadsheet capability. A good understanding of AutoCAD enhancement programs. Good experience in site verification, As-Building activities (I.e. Walkthrough, Interpreting data from 3D laser Scanning etc.) and use of Smartplant review or Navisworks and MicroStation.
• Good general knowledge of the Standard and Codes applicable to drawings prepared for the Oil industry.
• Strong leadership skills, with written, verbal and analytical skills.
• Good command of English language.

• Knowledge of Dialux, SmartSketch , PDS is added value.
• Fluent in the English language verbally and writing
