The Senior Validation and verification roles main goal is through mentorship/guidance support the sections deliveries to ensure quality and timely deliveries of plans, documentation and results through daily management.

The Verification section is responsible for planning and execution of functional tests on Bioprocess equipment developed by Custom Engineering.

This position is part of the Verification section in Uppsala and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

Verification:

• Support team members to ensure quality and timely deliveries of plans, documentation and results through daily management.
• Support planning and development activities for coming projects.
• Leads verification Daily management meeting.
• Can participate in customer FATs.
• Perform/educate others in testing and de-bugging in a simulated environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting.
• Set Quality requirements and train suppliers.

Documentation:

• Peer review and approve/reject test protocols
• Ensures quality as an SME by review and approval of all verification documentation for complex products and internal projects
• Work with implementing improvements related to but not limited to ways of working, EHS, technology, test methods and quality.

Service/Expertise:

• Act as an SME when needed and are applicable to Verification activities.
• Act as mentor/trainer and support to test engineers.
• Participates and drives the activities early on in external and internal projects.
• Lead/Support maintenance & development of test facility and test equipment.
• Leads troubleshooting and suggestion of corrective actions for products, test methods, procedures etc.
• Plans together with project team and perform installations/troubleshooting at customer site when required.
• Lead work in resolution of case management, CAPA, risk analysis.

Who you are:

• Bsc. in electrical engineering or similar knowledge from working experience.
• GMP knowledge or experience from other regulated business areas.
• Experience from testing/verification of operating systems.
• Knowledge from Cytiva Bioprocess products.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Fluency in Swedish.
