Are you an lawyer, with a strong interest in commercial contracts, who would be thrilled to use your expertise in supporting a Finnish-based technology company in its international growth journey? We are looking for Legal Counsel, Contracts, who is experienced in contract drafting starting from business needs and risk mitigation perspective and gets energized from working in a fast-paced growth environment. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring alignment of our global contracting policies whilst appreciating local differences in business models and needs. You would draft and update our global contract templates whilst also supporting either our Finnish or Swedish market unit with day to day questions. You will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer. Epassis purpose is to boost everyday well-being. Key Responsibilities Work with the Chief Legal Officer to create a global contract policy which reflects a common model whilst accounting for local differences in products and business models. Work with internal and external local legal to create contract templates for fast and efficient customer approval. Create contract playbooks and FAQ documents to support our sales teams in using contract templates. Depending on your experience, you may also advise on competition law, corporate law or other legal issues. Support either our Finnish or Swedish business in local language contract questions and drafting. Train Epassi team on our contracting model and how to use the templates effectively. Qualifications Masterss degree in Law either from Finland or Sweden. 3+ years of work experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts preferably within an international technology company. We also value experience in competition law and/or GDPR. Experience with tech companies and/or payment institutions is a plus. Excellent drafting skills in English and Finnish or Swedish. Other languages are considered an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Self-starter with a proactive and results-driven mindset; ability to thrive in a fast-pace entrepreneurial environment and take ownership.
