A rapidly evolving organization is seeking a driven and accomplished Project Leader with a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle. In this role, you will orchestrate improvement initiatives that enhance the current product development process—spanning initial opportunity assessments and requirements gathering to deployment—while defining schedules, scopes, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. Youll collaborate closely with a cross-functional network, ensuring effective teamwork and exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities to advance process excellence. - Outline project scope, requirements, and timelines, ensuring alignment across stakeholders. - Lead and inspire diverse teams comprising both internal and external resources, maintaining focus on scope, deadlines, and budgets. - Monitor project status, adjusting timelines or resources as needed to meet evolving requirements. - Foster strong relationships and frequent communication with relevant stakeholders, providing continuous visibility into project developments. - Track and report on performance to executive sponsors, establishing clear success metrics. - Compare and benchmark workflows to optimize existing processes. - Prepare training resources and support training initiatives. Qualifications - Masters degree in engineering, computer science, project management, business, or related discipline. - 5-8 years of project management experience in product development or lifecycle management. - Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, supported by a history of delivering results. - Skilled at running productive in-person and online meetings, workshops, and conferences. - Proficient in business process mapping and business requirement analysis. - Adept at both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a flexible approach to incorporate best practices. - Hands-on familiarity with project management tools and enterprise-level systems (e.g., PLM), as well as collaboration platforms like Teams, SharePoint, and Miro. - PMP certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
