Envar Studios is a creative development and outsourcing studio in Sweden, committed to excellence in art, design, and game development. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Officer to manage and oversee the financial health of our group companies.

As the Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of Envar Studios and its group companies. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a key role in ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with financial regulations, and efficient budget processes.

This is an in-house position based in Stockholm, Sweden.

• Accounting Management: Record business events such as invoices, receipts, salaries and other financial transactions. Prepare and submit VAT, tax and employer returns and ensure they are accurate and submitted on time

• Financial Statements: Take responsibility for preparing monthly financial statements by compiling financial data, preparing reconciliation files and ensuring accounting accuracy.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports for management, the board, and, to some extent, shareholders.

• Budgeting: Actively participate in the budgeting process for portfolio holdings, including compiling budgets for the group.

• Office Administration: Manage office administration and maintain a well-functioning office environment.

This role reports directly to Envars Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budget management..

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and documentation.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish.

• Experience in financial management within creative industries or project-based organizations.

• Degree in Business administration.

• Familiarity with Swedish tax and financial regulations.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
