About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design and implement test strategies that ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Work closely with development teams during the SDLC to integrate testing strategies into build pipelines. Design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks while maintaining reusable test components. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, ensuring they are resolved and retested. Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define test cases for functional, performance, and regression testing. Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous delivery and deployment process quality. Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured, ensuring endpoints meet specifications. Monitor and improve test coverage while optimizing for speed and efficiency. Investigate test failures and perform root cause analysis to improve product robustness. What Were Looking For: Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or equivalent QA role. Proficiency with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestNG. Strong skills in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test script development. Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Background in API testing and knowledge of tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and build automation tools like Maven or Gradle. Familiarity with DevOps practices and integration of automated testing into CI/CD workflows. Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: 3-5+ years of experience in QA and test automation. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow for behavior-driven development. Familiarity with AI/ML-driven testing tools or AI utilization in testing processes. Hands-on experience testing database-heavy applications with SQL or NoSQL validation scripts.
