Role:


  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather deep insights into the daily experiences of our software developers.
  • Collaborate with leads and developers to translate research findings into actionable design improvements and innovations.
  • Manage the full cycle of research, from planning and recruiting participants to executing studies and presenting findings.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand their processes and pain points.
  • Advocate for user-centric approaches within the development teams, influencing product strategy and implementation.

Essential requirements:


  • Strong background in User Research with a proven track record of conducting and applying research in a software development context.
  • Experience in software development environments, understanding key processes and typical challenges faced by developers.
  • Ability to synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Meritorious:


  • Advanced knowledge of User Experience (UX) principles and a good understanding of how to integrate user research into the UX design process.
  • Experience with UX design tools and methodologies to prototype and iterate on solutions based on user feedback.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methods to support research findings.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    • Experience with digital tool development for workflow enhancement.
      • Knowledge of current trends in software development and user experience.
