Join us as a Head of Enterprise IT Architecture. Lead a dynamic community of architects in both common and country-specific roles. You will shape and drive our technology strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our business objectives. Collaborate closely with the groups CIO and IT management team, and engage in virtual cross-functional teams. Partner with colleagues from various business units, architects, and technology teams to lead and coordinate technical and business discussions, guiding the future architecture direction across multiple teams or complex product lines within Telia Company.

As a Head of Enterprise IT Architecture you will have those responsibilities and tasks:

Your primary focus will be to manage Target Architecture, key architecture design principles, and governance to ensure efficient operations and foster innovation at Telia Company. This role goes beyond IT system design and integration. Youll be setting architecture standards, methods, and best practices for both in-house developed and procured systems and applications. Emphasizing a “reuse first” approach for cost efficiency and commonality, youll drive ongoing LCM activities to simplify, optimize, and reduce costs across the groups and local IT organizations architecture landscape. Additionally, youll ensure IT investments align with the organizations strategic direction. The Head of Enterprise IT Architecture is responsible for driving architecture governance, translating strategic objectives into tactical plans, designing and overseeing operational architectures, managing enterprise-wide repositories, developing scalable and secure business models and technology strategies, and ensuring alignment with Telias goals. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, providing guidance, exposing enterprise gaps, designing governance structures, monitoring architecture effectiveness, staying updated with market trends and best practices in enterprise architecture, transformation, innovation, technology architecture and development, and representing Telias architecture on the global arena.

As a team leader, youll guide and support your team, fostering autonomy, collaboration, and transparency.

Who were looking for

You have strong enterprise architecture design experience, focusing on large-scale solutions and enterprise architecture within telecommunications IT. You excel in leading and managing teams and architecture communities, as well as spearheading architecture initiatives. You are comfortable working in a rapidly changing business environment and have hands-on experience with enterprise modelling and software development. Additionally, you have experience managing IT vendor relationships and working with large-scale enterprise governance.

You are a proactive, results-oriented leader with strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. You balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, inspire others with your integrity and positive outlook. You anticipate business challenges, recommend improvements, and are ready to drive change. Additionally, you have a keen interest in IT market trends and technology changes.
