Eataly Stockholm is now looking for a market specialist to join our team in the heart of Stockholm!

Job Description

The Market Specialist guides guests visiting our market of Italian products and provides outstanding service suggesting and explaining products present at our market. Reports to the Market Supervisor.

Main tasks

• Greets and assists customers giving suggestions, recommendations and answering questions on our products
• Stocks products according to department procedures and rotates products according to “First In First Out” (FIFO) standards
• Supports the market team when receiving deliveries of products
• Ensures all items are placed attractively according to the agreed layout and maintain the overall market clean and tidy
• Maintains and organizes back-stock and warehouse storage areas according to department standards
• Communicates department’s needs and problems promptly and efficiently to Market Supervisor
• Together with HR and market supervisor makes sure to be updated on latest products and Eataly market developments
• Participates in activities held at the market performing tastings, cooking demonstrations and interacting with our customers
• Assists customers with payment at the tills
• Follows opening and closing routines
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge of Italian food products and culture acquired in a retail setting and/or hospitality or food sector background
• Previous experience of customer care and selling techniques
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently as well within a team
• Good knowledge of Swedish language
• Good knowledge of English language
• Availability to work onsite and during weekends
