Service Engineer, Automation

We are now having the opportunity for you to be a S ervice engineer for machine vision in the Scandinavian team .

A Service engineer at Valmet works with products that has the reputation of being the market leader, and having the most advanced product portfolio for pulp and paper automation.

Valmet IQ Machine vision (web inspection/monitoring systems) helps detect quality defects and identify their root causes . In this job you are one of our customers important contacts , and you will handle service cases from the very beginning until the case is closed with a satisfied customer. During all phases of the case you are supported by technical experts.

We are looking for a technical ly oriented, communicative person willing to cooperate within the Scandinavian team .

Position

• S ervice Engineer, Machine Vision

• C ustomer satisfaction and relations

• O rganize , execute , and report your own service visits

• Predictive maintenance, tuning of the systems, classification of defe cts etc.

• Participat e in new del ivery projects , system extensions and upgrade projects

• Remote support from the office

• Collaborative work with the Product Line in Tampere, Finland , and the global Operations Network

• We are flexible regarding the location, depending on where in the country you live

Profile

• Relevant engineering degree

• Experience from machine vision systems

• Experience from the Pulp & Paper industry is an advantage

• S elf-starter, open for collaboration with colleagues and customers

• A bility to act and m ake decisions

• O rganize d, with an ability to prioritize whilst multi- tasking

• Fluent in English and Swedish

• D riving license class B and willingness to travel within S weden
