About the Role We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer who has knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance of suppliers. You will assure that suppliers are properly managed from a quality perspective for both one-off deliveries and serial production. This means close work with designers at Technology and Innovation department, Procurement department, product owners, project leaders, and other stakeholders to secure robust, reliable and premium products for our customers. Our products are developing from being mostly mechanical, into units containing mechanical, electrical, computer components and software. The future requires us to have a product portfolio that is smarter and is being continuously improved and developed. As a Supplier Quality Engineer on FlexLink you will become a part of tomorrows smart factory makers. Come join our Supplier Quality department at our HQ in Gothenburg! Main activities and responsibilities • You assure quality within development projects by validating design, select, evaluate and approve new suppliers, but also handle claims toward suppliers. • Validate drawing and specifications of different materials samples and sub-assemblies. • Develop Supplier Quality assurance standards, processes and routines. • Work cross-functionally and support teams and departments in sharing the quality assurance and knowledge to achieve premium quality products. • Support in other tasks connected to Supplier Quality Assurance and customer satisfaction. • Be active in supplier auditing across Europe. What you need to be successful You have a bachelors or preferably masters degree in mechanical engineering / quality / production management. You also have: • At least 3 years of experience with quality assurance tools, supplier audit experience, APQP and PPAP process. • Are fluent in English and Swedish (or want to learn Swedish). • Want to work with both standard procedures and break ground for new standards and routines. • Are very detailed in analysis and having claim handling experience. • Open for business travels within Europe. • You enjoy working together with colleagues towards common goals with a customer-oriented focus.
