Security Analyst

REGION: Nordic region, Stockholm TASKS/ RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Security Analyst, you will be part of the Nordic IT team. In this role, you will oversee and ensure that security remains integrated into daily practices. You will be the primary point of contact for our security-related matters in Sweden. Your tasks will include supporting our IT in identifying the requirements they need to follow and evaluating our IT solutions to ensure theyre meeting our requirements. You will maintain our asset inventory and monitor the overall IT landscape. Additionally, you will plan and follow-up on activities to improve our overall performance, support our business in incorporating security into our practices, and share your expertise with other teams, from Developers to Compliance to Risk. You will also be the eyes in the field and the right hand of the Nordic CISO, to whom you will report. PROFILE: We are looking for someone with at least two years of work experience in IT-related projects (not necessarily in a security role). You should understand how systems work, be able to read a system architecture and know how a simple web application is built. You should be able to communicate technical terms with developers and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience. As a person, you are curious, organized, and like to be of service to others. You might enjoy breaking systems apart to see how they work and find unexplainable joy in reading and understanding policies and other documentation to both learn and find errors. Considered advantages include familiarity with networks, systems, and/or application security, operational security and processes management, threat modelling, risk management, and/or control frameworks. Fluency in English is required. As the position is due to be filled as soon as possible, our client would prefer to hire a candidate who does not need a work permit to work in Sweden. SALARY / RECRUITMENT PROCESS: The position is full-time with the possibility of hybrid work in consultation with the immediate manager. The salary is not yet final, but an estimation would be 45 K SEK per month. Good secondary benefits.
