Job Responsibilities: Automated testing is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of development tools used in hardware bring-up. As hardware designs evolve, it is essential to ensure their robustness and reliability through comprehensive testing before they are incorporated into final products Traditional manual testing methods are labor-intensive and prone to human error, limiting their effectiveness. Automated testing can streamline verification processes, identify faults early, and significantly enhance the reliability of development hardware. This thesis aims to develop and implement a basic automated testing framework specifically tailored for development tools used for hardware bring-up. By automating the testing process, this framework will ensure early identification and resolution of issues, thereby enhancing the overall quality and reliability of hardware bring-up. Purpose: To develop and implement a basic automated testing framework for development hardware, aimed at improving reliability and reducing development time. Field: Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Learning Objectives You will learn how to create a robust automated testing framework tailored for development hardware, gaining hands-on experience in developing solutions that ensure reliability and efficiency. You will dive into the world of test equipment setup, building and configuring the necessary tools for automated testing.
