We now recruit - IT Solution Architect (Business Applications)

In this role, you will make a difference and support the growth of Elisa IDS businesses. As Solution Architect you ensure that IT services and solutions align with business objectives and strategies. This role is critical for integrating technology into the companys overall strategy and ensuring that technology investments add value to the business.

In this position, you will join a growing international team and be part of the IDS IT team, reporting to the Head of IDS IT. Your closest colleagues will be the IDS IT team, central IDS business functions, and specific IDS companies. However, in a matrix, you will be working in close cooperation with Elisa Group IT and Elisa business functions.

This position can be located in Genova, Helsinki, Petershausen, Stockholm, or any other Elisa Company office location, but like the rest of the Elisians, you can work flexibly to achieve the best results. The working times follow Central European Time.

Your Main Responsibilities Are:

• Lead design, planning, and implementation of centralized business application environment for IDS businesses including systems within sales, marketing, HR, and finance domains
• Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and translate those into IT solutions
• Facilitate change management and encourage user adoption of new technologies within the business to help business to gain a competitive edge
• Drive IDS towards highly digitalized and cloud-based IT environment

To succeed in this position, the following is required:

• Ability to understand and react to business requirements and turn them into practical solutions. This role is not only about high-level architecture, but you get to work on the implementation projects as well
• 4+ years of experience working as a solution architect
• 7+ years of experience working in at least two of the following areas as an application specialist/solution owner/application architect: sales, marketing, HR, or finance
• Experience in working in an international environment with team members around the world
• Knowledge/experience in the architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate technical information in a way that business users can understand
• Capability of producing visually good quality documents with clear messaging
• Interest towards emerging trends and technologies
• Solid skills in English (written and spoken) and preferably any other Elisa language such as Swedish, Finnish or German

The work effort is supported by:

• Personal characteristics such as curious, business minded, leadership skills, positive, structured, and excellent communication skills
• Preferably you have worked in a software company and have gone through scale-up / consolidation phases
• Minimum Bachelors or higher degree, e.g. in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Willingness to travel
