A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Director to join a global market-leading manufacturing organisation during an exciting period of transformation and growth.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll become a key member of the senior leadership team, leading the transformation of the HR function and shaping the people strategy across Sverige and UK.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious HR leader who enjoys building, influencing and driving meaningful organisational change.

The Opportunity

Following a strategic review by the newly appointed Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, the business has identified a significant opportunity to transform its HR function.

Whilst the organisation is a recognised leader within its market, its HR processes, systems and people strategy have not evolved at the same pace as the business.

The successful HR Director will have the autonomy to assess the current function, retain what works well, redesign what doesn't and build a modern, scalable HR framework that supports the Nästa phase of growth.

Initially, your primary focus will be the Swedish operation, with strategic oversight of the UK businesses where established local HR teams are already in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the EMEA HR strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team on organisational design and business transformation.
  • Lead recruitment, talent management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Build leadership capability across the organisation.
  • Drive employee engagement, culture and retention.
  • Review and implement best practice HR policies, processes and governance.
  • Ensure compliance with Swedish employment legislation while supporting UK HR activities.
  • Lead organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilise HR data and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coach and influence senior stakeholders
About You

We're looking for an experienced HR Director who thrives in transformation environments and enjoys creating lasting change.

You'll be equally comfortable developing strategic people initiatives as you are rolling up your sleeves to implement them.

You'll bring:
  • Significant senior HR leadership experience.
  • A background within manufacturing, engineering or another operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Swedish employment legislation and HR practices.
  • A good understanding of UK employment law.
  • Experience leading HR across multiple sites ideally EMEA.
  • A proven track record of organisational development and change management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Personally, you'll be commercially minded, approachable and authentic, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence at Executive level. You'll be passionate about developing people, improving organisations and creating a high-performance culture.

Plats

Ideally, you'll be based within commuting distance of Haninge, approximately 25 minutes south of Stockholm.

Hybrid working is available; however, a strong on-site presence will be required during the initial stages of the transformation programme.
