With laboratories in the heart of Uppsala Biomedical Center and Sweden's only Faculty of Pharmacy, we are a vital engine in the development of education and research in the pharmaceutical sciences. More information about the department and its activities is available atThe infrastructure platform "Spatial Biology" at SciLifeLab is currently in a strong phase of expansion and is investing in the development of advanced methods for the integrated analysis of biological systems. We are now recruiting three bioinformaticians specializing within the field of spatial transcriptomics, spatial proteomics and spatial mass spectrometry, respectively. Together, you will form a data analysis team working to develop tools and methods for integrated multi-omics studies.
As a member of this team, you will play a key role in developing computational methods, analyzing complex datasets, and contributing to integrative omics efforts in close collaboration with researchers from various disciplines. The roles offer significant opportunities to influence both technological development and scientific direction in a rapidly growing research field.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled bioinformatician to join the Spatial Mass Spectrometry Unit,with a focus on the analysis, management, and integration of spatially resolved metabolomics and proteomics data generated through advanced mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) technologies.
The employment will be placed at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences , at Uppsala University.
