World of Volvo is equally owned by the Volvo companies and was established in 2024 as a platform to strengthen brand awareness. We operate as an independent entity with the mission to increase Volvo's brand awareness, governed by a Board of Directors whose members represent the owner companies.

Our office is located in the World of Volvo building near Liseberg – a spectacular building that will be your daily workplace.

Reporting directly to the CEO of World of Volvo and being a member of the World of Volvo management team, you are working with responsibilities that include financial reporting and planning in all aspects, a strong understanding of how commercial plans will translate into reported numbers and always assuring a sound and stable financial Tjänst of the World of Volvo group.

You will also be responsible for the World of Volvo facilities, the experience centre but also the Vault where all the artefacts are stored. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, securing daily operations, long and short facility planning, assure proper support and maintenance, to conclude manage the economic and practical administration of the facilities.

Long term focus and steering towards sustainable profitability is paramount for this Tjänst. The Tjänst entails staff responsibility, both through the economical reporting and through the facility administration responsibility.

• Drive financial planning of the group and assure financial advice and insights to the management team, including analysis of new business proposals that drive performance and enhance profitability
• Commercial simulations of revenues, costs and results
• Assure consciousness in the management team on the financial situation and capability of the group
• Main areas of responsibility for the role are Finance, Legal, Purchase, and Sustainability
• Present the financial standing, forecast and activities to the Board of Directors
• Assure regulatory and legal compliance for the group entities, including all communication and contact with external auditors
• Manage World of Volvo facilities, including “The Vault” where all the owner‑companies artefacts are stored.

• Commercial in mindset and attitude, with a strong capacity to understand the financial impact arising from new activities
• Communicative and able to explain financial matters with ease to non‑finance colleagues so that they understand for real
• A true team‑player with a will to make a difference
• Able to assure strong relation with the owner companies, in all areas that are needed to keep operations running smoothly and friction free
• Happy to work with the team and World of Volvo, making a difference for the owner companies customers brand awareness.

• Experience from similar Tjänsts, where communication of financial matters to team members and/or BoD has been part of the work.
• Knowledge of local (Swedish) regulatory and legal matters
• Prior work experience with external auditors, as this Tjänst is the point person representing the World of Volvo group.
• Prior experience of the meeting & entertainment business is positive
• Excellent language skills in English, Swedish is preferable but not a prerequisite
