Expert / Staff Data Scientist – Generative / Agentic AI

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer to build and scale Generative AI applications. The role is permanent, based in Stockholm or Helsinki, with a hybrid model – approximately three days per week in the office.
About our teamWe are part of the Group Financial Crime Prevention unit, working across Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen to improve how we detect and investigate financial crime with AI and machine learning. We have released Nordea’s Första internal generative AI product and are now expanding use cases.
Main responsibilitiesWe’re looking for someone passionate about solving challenging problems with data, software and AI. A strategic thinker who prefers action and is persuasive in communication.
Your background and skillsBackground check will be performed for selected candidates, including internal applicants. Only for candidates in Finland: a security clearance will be performed. Only for candidates in Sverige: union information is available from Finansförbundet or SACO.
