Your role

We are on an ambitious journey to become the world's leading supplier of Fighter Electronic Warfare, and we want a driven, strategic leader to help us achieve that vision. As Department Manager for Contract & Project Management within Product Unit Arexis, you will turn strategy into successful delivery.

The Product Unit Arexis is part of the Business Unit Fighter Core Capabilities within Surveillance. It owns profitability, strategies, budgets and long‑ and short‑term goals for the Arexis product family, which includes contract‑project‑and‑product management, system design, software development, integration and verification.

You will be accountable for contract execution and project delivery across several critical programs, ensuring that commitments are fulfilled on time, with the right quality, and with strong business performance.

Leading and developing a team of Project Managers and Technical Project Managers, you will build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement, and you will be part of the PU Arexis Management team.

A key part of your mission is to create the conditions for successful execution internally as well as externally, working closely with platform integrators, customers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and strong partnerships throughout the full lifecycle.

Beyond execution, you will support growth by driving business development, adding sales to existing customers and establishing robust contracts for future business.

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Lead, coach and develop the Contract & Project Management team.
  • Secure successful execution of contracts and projects with focus on delivery, quality and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain an effective execution environment internally and externally.
  • Drive strong cross‑functional collaboration across the Product Unit and Business Unit.
  • Support business development, including new opportunities and contract establishment.
  • Drive Marketing & Sales activities for add‑on business in alignment with the central organization.
  • Contribute to Product Offer and Offer Development processes, including cost estimation.
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management and stakeholder alignment across projects.

  • Leadership experience with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, customer relationships and commercial drivers.
  • Solid business acumen, including cost control, margins and delivery commitments.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional, stakeholder‑rich environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience.

This Tjänst requires that you pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection. Additional citizenship obligations may apply for Tjänsts requiring a security clearance.
