Your role

The Product Unit Arexis is part of the Business Unit Fighter Core Capabilities within Surveillance. It is responsible for profitability, strategies, budgets and long‑ and short‑term goals for the portfolio within the Arexis Product family. The product unit consists of contract‑, project‑ and product management as well as System design, Software development, Integration and Verification.
Software design, development, integration and verification is carried out in a SAFe‑inspired Agile Release Train (ART) and is managed by the Functional Design department within Product Unit Arexis.
As Head of Functional Development within Functional Design you will be responsible for software and FPGA development in one of the most advanced EW systems in the world, ensuring high quality, efficient execution and continuous improvement.
You will lead an organization of approximately 80 employees structured into functional teams and play an important role in developing both the organization and its people. As part of this, you will foster a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Success in this role requires close and effective collaboration across Functional Design and within the broader Product Unit, ensuring alignment, transparency, and shared direction.
