About the role

Head of Growth, EMEA & APAC, you will lead Hive's commercial growth engine across EMEA & APAC markets by managing both the Sales and Solution Engineering functions. This is a senior, player-coach leadership role that combines people development, technical credibility, operational discipline, and commercial impact.

You will lead a team of 2 Senior Enterprise Account Managers and 2 Solution Engineers, supporting a portfolio of enterprise customers across EMEA and APAC markets. You will own regional growth outcomes, support strategic deals, guide complex solution design, and build a scalable operating model across the full customer lifecycle from pipeline creation through renewal and expansion. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer, with a close collaboration with the Chief Service Operations Officer for global SE principles and technical standards.

This is a hands-on role. You will lead and develop your team while remaining actively involved in strategic customer engagements and high-stakes negotiations. You will operate in a matrix organization, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Support/Services and Marketing.

Working as a Head of Growth, you will:

  • Own regional growth targets and deliver predictable outcomes across pipeline, bookings, renewals, and expansion
  • Lead complex commercial cycles including pricing strategy, negotiations, and multi-year agreements
  • Hire, onboard, and develop the Solution Engineering function, building repeatable processes for discovery, demos, and technical validation
  • Act as advisor in strategic customer engagements with value articulation
  • Drive long-term account value by aligning Sales, Solution Engineering, and cross-functional teams across adoption, renewal, and expansion
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders (IT, Security, Procurement, Communications leaders)
  • Lead, coach, and develop Sales and Solution Engineering teams across a remote, multi-Land environment
  • Establish scalable operating cadence including forecasting, pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and cross-functional planning

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a leader who combines commercial acumen with technical credibility, strong leadership skills, and a customer-centric, collaborative approach. You may come from a sales leadership background where solution engineering was central to your wins, or from solution engineering itself with a strong commercial track record. Rather than ticking every box, you likely recognize yourself across most of the areas below.

Commercial & Technical Leadership

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales, Solution Engineering, or similar customer-facing roles in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
  • Proven people leadership experience across commercial and/or presales teams; ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent
  • Experience partnering with or leading Solution Engineers in complex enterprise sales cycles, with the ability to engage on technical topics
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience owning enterprise deals, negotiations, renewals, and multi-year contracts
  • Executive presence and communication skills; ability to make complex topics clear and actionable for senior stakeholders
  • Fluency in English required. Proficiency in French, German, and/or Spanish is a plus.

Business & Scaling Experience

  • Experience scaling a high-growth SaaS organization and building repeatable go-to-market motions
  • Experience selling or working with technically complex products in areas such as enterprise video streaming, networking, security, or adjacent infrastructure
  • Experience working with global enterprise customers across multiple industries and geographies
  • Strong operational discipline: forecasting, pipeline management, CRM rigor, and cross-functional execution
