In this strategic yet hands-on role, you will be responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing institutional clients—Payment Institutions (PIs), Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), and regulated FinTechs—across the EU.You will lead a high-performing business development team, define the growth strategy, and ensure revenue generation, efficient onboarding, and full regulatory compliance within the Bank’s risk appetite.Your Focus:* Leadership & Growth: Lead, coach, and motivate the Business Development team to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives.* Client Acquisition: Drive new institutional client acquisition and manage key relationships, engaging senior decision-makers to close complex deals and foster long-term partnerships.* Strategic Execution: Define and execute the Payments Business growth plan, prioritizing sectors and jurisdictions with the highest commercial potential.* End-to-End Relationship Management: Oversee the entire client lifecycle—from lead generation, due diligence, and onboarding through to ongoing account management—ensuring efficiency and exceptional client experience.* Sales Operations & Reporting: Develop and maintain scalable sales and pricing processes; ensure accurate CRM data, pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI reporting.* Compliance & Risk Alignment: Collaborate closely with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure all business aligns with AML/CFT, PSD2, and EU regulatory frameworks.
