We are looking for a driven Software Engineer who is passionate about developing the Nästa generation Distributed Control System – a solution that will transform how industries work with efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Key responsibilities: Design and develop cutting-edge software for ABB’s Nästa generation Distributed Control System Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to maximize customer value Collaborate closely with your team, taking ownership of your work while contributing to shared success Live ABB’s values of safety and integrity—ensuring responsibility, trust, and a supportive workplace culture Your Background • A university degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical field • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Software Engineer • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and C • Experience with Distributed Control Systems and OPC UA is a strong advantage • Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, is a plus • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset • Fluent in both English and Swedish , spoken and written What’s in it for you?
