Senior Legal Counsel - FundsQarlbo is looking to hire a commercially minded legal professional to support its growing private equity and fund-related activities. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit legal and investment environment at an important stage of development, as Qarlbo continues to expand from being primarily an LP investor into a more active fund platform owner and coordinator.
About the RoleIn this role, you will work closely with Qarlbo’s Chief Legal Officer, legal team and senior investment professionals on a broad range of funds, investment, compliance and structuring matters. The Tjänst combines hands‑on legal coordination with practical operational work, including investor documentation, KYC processes, subscription materials, carried interest structures and ongoing fund platform development.
You will act as an important point of coordination between internal stakeholders, external counsel and fund-related counterparties in Sverige, Luxemburg, Hongkong and other relevant jurisdictions. The role requires someone who is comfortable navigating legal complexity while also taking ownership of detailed administrative and compliance-driven processes.
Key responsibilitiesWe are looking for a lawyer with approximately four to six years of relevant experience, ideally gained from a leading law firm, fund manager, private equity firm, family office or other investment-focused environment. Experience with private funds, fund structuring, private equity, tax‑adjacent matters or financial regulatory work would be highly relevant.
The successful candidate will combine strong legal judgment with a pragmatic and service-minded approach. You should enjoy owning a process end to end which means working in a broad role where strategic legal questions sit alongside detailed documentation, coordination and follow-up. A high level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail is essential.
