Solution Architect – Java Full Stack & Delivery 1. Role Overview
- We are seeking a Solution Architect – Java Full Stack & Delivery with 15+ experience to design, drive, and deliver end‑to‑end technology solutions in complex, cross‑functional environments. This role blends architectural leadership with hands‑on delivery accountability, ensuring solutions move smoothly from design through implementation and production.
- The role requires strong expertise in Java full‑stack technologies, cloud‑native architectures, and modern delivery practices. You will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and delivery stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
- This is not a “design‑only” role—pragmatic execution, real‑world delivery experience, and technical decision‑making during implementation are expected.
- Provide Proactive Solutions and contribute to the growth of the business.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end‑to‑end solution architecture, from requirements clarification through go‑live and stabilization.
- Translate business, functional, and non‑functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Provide architectural leadership across backend, frontend, integration, and cloud infrastructure layers.
- Actively support delivery execution, including design elaboration, technical guidance, and issue resolution.
- Ensure architectural decisions remain aligned with delivery timelines, cost, and risk.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to shape solution scope and priorities.
- Guide development teams on patterns, frameworks, security, and quality standards.
- Review designs, code, and deployments to ensure alignment with architecture principles.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks.
- Support production readiness, cutover activities, and post‑release stabilization when needed.
- Solution led new business opportunities.
- Provide necessary support to the team on delivery.
3. Required Technical Skills (Java Full Stack)
- Strong hands‑on experience with Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Frontend development experience using modern frameworks such as:
- React, Angular, or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Experience with event‑driven architectures, including platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- Solid experience with relational databases such as MariaDB (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of API design, versioning, and integration best practices.
4. Architecture & Delivery Experience
- Proven experience driving solutions from architecture design through implementation and production.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, primarily AWS (Azure or GCP experience is also valued).
- Including services such as AWS Lambda and cloud security/IAM concepts.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with workflow orchestration and BPM tools, such as Camunda (preferably Camunda 8).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as:
- Jenkins, GitHub, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with code quality, security, and maintainability tools (e.g., SonarQube).
- Ability to make pragmatic architectural trade‑offs balancing quality, speed, and business needs.
- SLA’s and KPI’s alignment with the wider teams, clients and delivery the same.
5. Soft Skills & Collaboration
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with:
- Product Owners
- Developers
- QA, DevOps, and Operations teams
- Experience acting as a trusted technical counterpart for stakeholders.
- Ability to influence architectural and technical decisions through collaboration rather than authority.
- Structured problem‑solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Comfortable working in multicultural, distributed delivery environments.
