Open Position - Chargehand ( EU)

Applications are invited to apply for the role of Chargehand. This role will report to the relevant Foreman on each project.

Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the role are in support of the Foreman on each project. As Chargehand, you will be expected to support your team in meeting these values and client expectations.

The duties of this role include but are not limited to:

· Ensure compliance to all Health, Safety, Environmental & Security policy ensuring the timely

· Escalation of any concerns through the agreed process.

· Maintain compliance with all required PPE specific to the work environment, both for yourself, your team and other third parties

· Oversee the work of Entry Level, Trainee and Technicians to ensure a consistent high standard of installation both technically and visually.

· Carry out on the job training as appropriate.

· Read, review, and interpret construction drawings.

· Installation of structured cabling of varied specification and conduct testing with Fluke Cable Analyser

· Installation of Fibre Optic Cabling and conduct testing with Fluke DSX

· Consult with the client or their representative on project progress.

· Escalate to your manager any out-of-scope project activity and only proceed with the required approval

· Ensure adherence and compliance to the company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as may be revised from time to time

· Carry out other ad hoc duties as may be reasonably required by the role

The current rate of pay for the Chargehand Role is €19.20 per hour, plus lodge payment of €150.00 per week. The successful applicant will serve a six-month probationary period in the role of Chargehand. If successful following their probation period, the successful applicant will be permanently appointed to the role.
