Senior IAM Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Senior IAM Infrastructure Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Operations & Infrastructure team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job

The Senior IAM Infrastructure Engineer will;

• Take the lead in developing and configuring the automatic lifecycle workflows of Northvolts Identities and access management.
• Collaborate closely with IAM Architect, IT teams within Digitalization Business Unit to lead the technical implementation or modification to the IAM infrastructure in Northvolt.
• Provide expert support to IT Service Support in resolving IAM infrastructure incidents and addressing customer issues promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, IAM updates, procedures, and policies to keep the IT team and management informed about changes and developments.
• Expert in Identity & Access Management concept.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation efforts, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of existing IAM & MDM workflows.
• Expert in MDM (Mobile Device Management) and proficiently handle device lifecycle management within Intune.
• Be a driver in the use of infrastructure as code, familiar with both GitHub and Terraform.
• Follow the SCRUM framework or Agile methodology as a standard practice in the teams ways of working.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Recognize and address Entra ID related problems in the IAM infrastructure.
• Offer technical assistance for issues arising in the IAM and its associated IT infrastructure.
• Ensure high-quality technical and procedural documentation.
• Act as the primary contact for handling technical escalations.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the IAM team, guiding them in technical matters and best practices.
• Assist in reviewing technical Change Advisory Board requests falling under the IAM domain.

• Proficient in integrating IAM platform (Entra ID) with connected source and target systems,

• Experienced in configuring User, Group & Identity & Governance Administration workflows in

• Knowledgeable in OAuth & Authentication mechanisms, ensuring secure access control.
• Skilled in working with both Linux and Windows platforms, adapting to diverse environments.
• Adept at Application onboarding & SSO configuration with Entra ID, facilitating seamless

• Familiarity with PowerShell Graph Modules, enabling efficient interaction with Microsoft Graph

• Possessing a solid understanding of basic network concepts, aiding in IAM implementation.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as bash and PowerShell, automating various tasks.
• Knowledgeable in MDM platforms design and operations, ensuring effective device

• Adept at troubleshooting diverse technology problems, offering timely resolutions.
• Experienced in handling CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) and

• Understanding cloud architectures and concepts (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), enabling cloud-based

• Familiarity with basic security protocols, ensuring robust security measures are in place.

• Communicating complex information to a non-technical audience.
• Strong organisational acumen.
• Building trust and relationship with parties across all areas of the business (networking)
