At Stena Recycling Group, we are used to be in the forefront and deliver the best solutions when it comes to recycling of batteries. Now, we want to accelerate the development on additional life extension-services such as Re-use, 2nd use and Service assessments. We are looking for a new colleague who wants to break new ground together with us.

Welcome to our team! We are a small team with a lot of experience that loves to work together and have fun doing it. Meet two of our team members:

You will work together with Per who has over 20 years of experience from the automotive and battery industry, he is responsible for customer relations, ensuring that our clients always receive top-notch service. Another colleague you will work closely to is Marcus. With 15 years of experience in safety, process, and production development, he oversees all our local battery facilities and production processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

As a Life Extension Manager, you will:

• Drive development throughout extensive team-work with colleagues in our battery centers in seven countries.
• Develop 2nd use value-chain by securing and continuously diversifying inbound portfolio. Monitor and describe production process for continuous improvement and develop outbound market exposure by long term partnerships in balance with Stena´s vertical integration.
• Develop re-use value chain through partnership and process, allowing for a continuous growth of Stena´s re-use activities based on a just in time balance of supply and demand.
• Develop our assessment service capacity in order to deliver requested and beyond requested services on battery assessment as a service.

With your curiosity, you like to try new things even if the solution is not 100% ready. You are used to running projects independently and having many contact points where collaboration is a key to success.

As a Life Extension Manager, you also is/have:

• High level of battery understanding
• Proven record on driving complex business development projects in bigger companies.
• Recycling industry experience, especially from processes transforming waste to products is beneficial
• High level of business understanding from the recycling industry or the re-use industry or similar relevant industries
• Understanding of Battery design and battery certifications
• Relevant technical sales or sales competence and customer relationship management
• Higher technical or financial education, preferably with industrial focus, minimum at bachelor level or
• Relevant background and especially battery/electrification experience is also interesting

Nice to have:

• familiar with regulatory landscapes across multiple countries, especially for battery handling, reuse, and recycling
