We constantly encourage individual growth in an open-minded, collaborative, and positive working environment, and look forward to your contribution to the team.

Information about the project and the department FLEXDIS will analyse the impact that distributed renewable generation have on the grid stability and explore potential solutions based on flexibility from the renewable generation and the demand. The impact of distributed generation will be analysed in terms of frequency and voltage regulation at transmission grid. The existing limitations from distributed renewable generation will be evaluated, in particular inverter-based resources (IBR), in case of power imbalances and faults. Solutions to ensure sufficient power reserve include flexible demand from thermal and electric vehicle loads. The project solutions will be first tested in a simulation and the final validations will be carried out using Hardware-in-the-Loop setups and tests in a living lab.
